News Director Beth Jensen came to KELO in 1996. Beth spent time as a reporter and then a producer before becoming executive producer in 2001. She was named news director in 2008. She has produced stories, newscasts and specials that have received national Edward R. Murrow awards, regional Emmys and recognition from the South Dakota Associated Press.
She is Sioux Falls native and graduate of Boston University where she studied broadcast journalism and political science.
Beth serves as an EmBe Women’s Leadership Mentor, on the Washington Pavilion Board of Trustees, Levitt At The Falls Board of Directors and Sioux Falls Thrive Board of Directors.
She and her husband Mark have two children. Nicholas is a sophomore at Lincoln High School and Katie is an eighth grader at Patrick Henry Middle School.
