Celebrate, Give, and Grow Together on Giving Tuesday

On Giving Tuesday, EmBe is celebrating YOU,  the amazing community that fuels our mission. We’re grateful for every participant, donor, and volunteer who brings our vision to life. On December 3, join us for a day filled with gratitude, giving, and connection.

Your support on Giving Tuesday will go even further this year, with Thrivent Financial matching 50% of all donations received, up to $20,000. A $20 donation becomes $30, amplifying your impact. If EmBe has touched your life this year, please consider giving back to help us sustain and expand our programs. Ways to Join Us on December 3

Coffee & Conversations – Josiah’s Coffeehouse | 6:30 – 9:00 a.m.
Start your day with us! From 6:30 to 9:00 a.m., join our team at Josiah’s Coffeehouse and enjoy a free cup of coffee (yes, even specialty lattes!) and take part in the excitement as we celebrate the heart and soul of EmBe—our community. Receive your free coffee voucher at the EmBe booth at Josiah’s Coffeehouse,  from 6:30 a.m.-9 a.m.

Get a Coffee, Give a Donation | EmBe Downtown & South | 6 – 10 a.m.
With your free-will donation on Giving Tuesday, you can fuel the team that’s here for your family every day. Join us at drop-off for our “Get a Coffee, Give a Donation” event at EmBe Downtown and EmBe South! Our team will be ready with a hot cup of coffee, as a little pick-me-up for you on your way into the day. A suggested $5 donation helps support the energy, dedication, and care our teachers bring to EmBe’s classrooms each day. Let us fill your cup as we thank you for being a part of EmBe Education!

Leadership Legacy Group | EmBe Downtown | 10 – 11:30a.m. 
As an essential part of EmBe’s legacy, we invite you to join us for coffee on Giving Tuesday as we celebrate 100 years of history, community, and shared stories. Together, we’ll flip through old scrapbooks, reminisce about EmBe’s impact, and reflect on the memories that have shaped us. Let’s honor the past and look forward to the future, knowing that each of you has played a unique role in EmBe’s story.

Swim-a-Thon – EmBe Downtown Pool | December 1-3, all-day!  
You’re invited to swim/walk lengths of the pool and support EmBe’s mission! Find at least two pledges (yourself, friends, family, employer, coach, teacher, neighbor, etc.) to make a flat dollar amount donation, a $1 per Length Donation, or both! Track/record the lengths you’ve swam/walked from Sunday, December 1 – Tuesday, December 3rd. Volunteer Power Hour | EmBe Downtown | 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Make a difference this Giving Tuesday at our Volunteer Power Hour! If you would like to give through your gift of time on Giving Tuesday, join us for a feel-good afternoon of hands-on service as we pack 50 Girls on the Run totes and organize and clean our styling boutique for Dress for Success. It’s a great way to connect, give back, and help us reach even more women and girls through EmBe programs. Lend a hand and feel the power of community at EmBe! Cheers to You Happy Hour – R Wine Bar | 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. 
Raise a glass with friends, past Women’s Leadership Program participants,  The EMBES-A Tribute to Women nominees, program volunteers, board members, and our EmBe team. Together, let’s toast to a day filled with generosity, connection, and gratitude for all who make EmBe so impactful—today and for years to come. Enjoy appetizers and wine, generously provided by Thrivent, as we wrap up the day’s celebrations. All are welcome to join in this special evening of appreciation and community!
